Lead Screws, Nuts
Thirty-degree trapezoidal lead screws are parts that have screw threads angled at 30 degrees and trapezoidal cross-sections. Thirty-degree trapezoidal lead screws are a type of feed screw used for machine tool operation. Instead of fastening, they are used for linear movement of mechanical components such as screw jacks. The shafts come in a wide range of shapes, such as stepped at both ends, stepped at one end, double-stepped at one end, double-stepped at both ends and straight. Multiple screw thread orientations are also available, such as right-hand threads, left-hand threads, right/left-hand threads and precision right/left-hand threads. These threads can be combined to support various applications. The screws are robust types that make it easy to ensure shaft direction accuracy, so are used for applications such as lead screws in measuring instruments and lathes. The screw surfaces have been given a black oxide coating treatment, making them rust-resistant and suited for use in non-rust permissible locations.
